Douglas P. Goebel, CFA, CFP®

President, Principal

Douglas Goebel is a Principal, member of Quest’s Investment Committee and serves as President. Doug began his career at Capital Trust Company in 1990 doing performance measurement and portfolio analytics. Prior to joining Quest in 1993, he worked at Dain Bosworth where he provided performance measurement, manager selection and investment guideline support for a consulting group.

Doug received his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Wheaton College. He is a CFP® professional. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of both the CFA Society of Portland and CFA Institute.

In his free time, Doug enjoys marathon running and cycling as well as an occasional triathlon. Several of his memorable “bucket list” items are summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, completing the six World Major Marathons and the IRONMAN World Championships in Nice, France. He also serves as President of the Wheaton College Alumni Association Board of Directors.
