Quest Investment Management is an independently-owned investment advisor managing long-only large-cap growth equity portfolios and asset allocation strategies for institutional clients. We are headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon and have managed institutional assets for nearly 40 years.
Quest is 100% employee owned and managed. Our ownership structure and culture ensure that our interests are aligned with those of our clients. The Firm was founded in 1985 and the core of the investment team has worked together for over 30 years.

Our Founder
Monte L. Johnson
Chairman/Founder
Monte Johnson is the Founder and Chairman of Quest Investment Management, LLC. Monte is a member of Quest’s Executive Committee. Monte began his career at Dean Witter followed by Herron Northwest, member NYSE, where he served on the Board of Directors. In 1972, when Herron NW was purchased by Piper Jaffray, Monte served on the National Board of Directors. Monte co-founded FJW Financial Management, Registered Investment Advisor, in 1975. He founded Quest in 1985.
