Monte Johnson is the Founder and Chairman of Quest Investment Management, Inc. He is a member of Quest's Investment Committee, Executive Committee and serves as co-Chief Investment Officer and senior portfolio manager. Monte is responsible for equity investments in the Consumer Discretionary and Staples sectors. He began his career at Dean Witter followed by Herron Northwest, member NYSE, where he served on the Board of Directors. In 1972, when Herron NW was purchased by Piper Jaffray, Monte served on the National Board of Directors. Monte co-founded FJW Financial Management, Registered Investment Advisor, in 1975. He founded Quest in 1985.

Monte has managed Pension Trusts for Taft-Hartley plans continuously since 1973.

Monte earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Oregon and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the University of Oregon Law School.
