Vice President

Donald Soderlind serves in the position of Sector Portfolio Manager at Quest. For both Quest’s large cap and small cap growth strategies, Don provides portfolio management recommendations for the Materials, Producer Durables, Telecommunications Services, and Utilities sectors.

Before joining Quest in 2007, Don was Vice President/Portfolio Manager at the Bank of Hawaii, in Honolulu, from 2005 to 2007. At the bank, he was a senior member of a six-person equity investment management team that was responsible for managing the Bank of Hawaii’s Pacific Capital Growth, Growth & Income, and Value mutual funds (three separate funds). From 1998 to 2005, Don was Vice President/Portfolio Manager - Equities at Financial Management Advisors, in Los Angeles, where he was a senior member of a team than managed a large/mid-cap growth equity strategy. Between 1991 and 1998, Don was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Cutler & Company. Altogether, Don has over 20 years of experience managing equity portfolios and performing stock research.

Don holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He received an MBA and a B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, in Seattle. He is a member of the CFA Society of Portland and the CFA Institute.
